Programme overview

Know the starting point and finish line.

For someone who wants to understand why a robot moves badly, misses an obstacle or drains its battery—and fix it.

Duration
Typical plan: 10 weeks
Format
20 guided studio sessions
Starting point
Beginner route available; prior electronics or robotics skills can be reviewed
Programme fee
₹9,499

Shared studio parts are included; a take-home rover kit is priced separately. Your schedule, payment plan and total cost are confirmed in the written build brief before enrolment.

Default capstone

A four-wheel rover with manual control, obstacle-avoidance mode and a servo-mounted sensor head, tuned for a defined studio test course.

Build sequence

  1. 01

    Make one motor predictable

Wire a driver, reverse direction, vary speed and measure what the battery and motor are doing.

  2. 02

    Build a driveable chassis

Assemble the rover, route power correctly and write reliable forward, reverse and turning controls.

  3. 03

    Add perception

Mount and calibrate distance sensors, then stop and turn before a collision.

  4. 04

    Add manual and autonomous modes

Control the rover remotely and switch cleanly between human commands and sensor-driven behaviour.

  5. 05

    Tune the final machine

Improve the sensor mount, cable management, turning logic and reliability on the test course.

Completion

Finish with work you can show and explain.

Attendance alone does not complete the programme. The build and its record must meet the stated test.

Completion test

The rover must complete the agreed course three times, switch modes on command, and recover after you diagnose one planted fault.

Your build record

  • Working rover
  • Wiring and system diagram
  • Control code
  • Test-course results
  • Build log + demo video
